Kevin Bracey The Sylvia M. Thomasson Educational Leadership Enhancement Program is designed to strengthen the executive management skills of women and minorities. Originally the program was established and funded through a State of Florida grant; however, when the grant was eliminated in 1999 due to state funding issues, the presidents of Central Florida Community College, Lake-Sumter Community College, and Pasco-Hernando Community College, seeing the tremendous value of the program, decided to form a consortium to jointly continue the program opportunities for their employees.

Each year one of the participating institutions assumes primary responsibility for coordinating the project and develops a schedule of leadership activities for participants to attend. Lake-Sumter Community College is coordinating the 2008-2009 program.

We hope this Web site will serve as an inspiration to all and an introduction to future program participants.
