Adult education
Mission statement
PHCC provides a free Adult Education program with sections in: GED (General Educational Development) preparation, ABE (Adult Basic Education), and Adult Literacy (ESOL). There is no charge to Florida residents over the age of 18 who do not posess a high school diploma. Students can attend classes at any of three campuses in Dade City, New Port Richey or Brooksville.
The Adult Education program:
- Values highly all individuals by showing respect and regard for their learning needs
- Is wholly committed to removing barriers in order to actively encourage and include individuals in formal learning
- Offers all learners mentoring, guidance and opportunities for meaningful academic and professional growth
- Strives to implement equality of opportunity for all students
- Works actively to help students achieve their learning goals
